Here are some pics of Chris' old clam tank, and my new clam tank. I have everything pretty well ready to go; however, i have a few plumbing issues. I dont know how im going to make a sump for this new tank and still run a closed loop for the Ocean Motion, and the 4 returns that are drilled through the bottom of the tank.
If anyone has any ideas, pls reply. Please hold all hurtfull comments![IMG]

Originally the tank did not have a closed loop. Chris added it later using the original 4 return pipes. There was an extra drain he had which he later used as the intake for the closed loop. He had the return line as a pipe coming up over the side. You could always drill another hole for a return in the tank if you didn't want to come up over the side.

depending on the pump you could rob one or two of teh closed loop returns and use them for the sump intake and return.

It has two 3/4" drains in a built in overflow box, so the easiest thing would be to hang a pipe over the side for the return line.

im sure im just going to just run the ocean motion w/ a closed loop, and use a hang-on return line. Now just have to make sections in the 20L sump for a skimmer.
