I'm going through a little new tank syndrome right now and one of the consequences is alot of film algae. For some reason....maybe the film algae, I have an unbelievable amount of copepods on the glass. Literally millions. They're the little 1mm white guys that run around all over the glass. Anyway to promote them staying in high numbers once the film algae gets back to normal?

    Parameters.....Alk 8.1, Cal 430, Mg 1380, NO3 undetectable, PO4 0.02.

I also have some very pale sickly looking hair algae

I'm gonna get some chaeto for the sump at the meeting. Hopefully that will serve as a reserve for the copepods.
