I just got my second mp40 and it turns out that the wireless function on my first one isn't working. Both are MP40w ES. Is there anyone that has one that has no plans on using their wireless(ness) and would be willing to trade? I think the dry side is all that would have to be traded. Can you change the chip, Ecotech sells the wireless chip. Much cheaper than getting a whole new set up if that's the issue. Good luck, maybe someone will have one available in the club.
I was looking and maybe the rf module chip is for the MP10 only. Wouldn't hurt to call ecotech, they have very good customer service, which they should considering the prices if their products.
I got in touch with customer service. They told me to take the controller apart and unplug the RF module and then plug it back in. When I took it apart I noticed that it was not properly plugged in. So I unplugged it completely and then plugged it back in. It's working now. I have to say that their customer service is really good!
