So I think my coral beauty might have parasites. I've seen some long poop hanging off several times, which by itself doesn't necessarily bother me but I've seen it look stringy with clearish patches too. I messaged seachem and they said that metroplex was safe to use in food mix but just to make sure the fish get most of it, which I've done twice now, but I'm wondering if there are any meds that CAN be safely used in the DT. I know it's not ideal but I also know I can't catch this fish without tearing down the tank. And with the 3 being in there together, I want to make sure they all get treated JIC.

Is PraziPro invert and coral safe??

Prazi is invert safe except for tube worms, feather dusters, bristle worms. You have to treat twice at least three days apart. You won't be able to run your skimmer for 10-14 days due to it overflowing. Prazi can decrease oxygenation so make sure you have good surface agitation.

Major hassle but it can be done.

Good to know about the worms. I have a lot of little tube worms that I'd rather not kill.

I'll go ahead and treat the QT though. If I remove a rock to treat the tank, after treatment and water change, would there be any risk of reintroducing something by adding the rock back in? Or should I just treat and not worry about the tube worms and bristle worms?

selcon and perhaps a medicated food would be a lot safer than dosing your tank in my opinion. I've had experience with mistakes in bayer dipping and not rinsing wipe out populations of bristleworms, the tank will recover but it can really add a ton of nutrients and throw off the cycle. Much like humans eating algae/plants can cause stringy poop, try eating a whole stick of celery if you want to see for yourself.
