I have been reading about cutting glass and am wanting to cut my new 55 gallon and sump: was allready to buy on ebay, the right bit till i seen the one with the pilot bit, and was wondering if anyone has used this type? Seems like twice the chance of shatter or possibly less of a chance of shatter. Just let me know Thanks http://cgi.ebay.com/1-1-2-inch-Diam...tem&pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item53dfc80ac4
You could try one of these. Then you don't need to worry about putting any torque from side to side, thats what breaks glass. And you won't need a pilot bit. http://www.bulkreefsupply.com/store/pro ... rills.html
