Has anyone use a glass hole saw with bit?

    I would think it would have more of a chance of shattering. IMO.

    You could try one of these. Then you don't need to worry about putting any torque from side to side, thats what breaks glass. And you won't need a pilot bit.

    Consider drilling any glass under water as well, you should find it help with eliminating cracking.
