If you have or buy two maxi jet 1200's and come to Fort Smith I will make you one. You can make one from PVC from Home Depot or Lowe's. Order the sulphur from Marine depot, and two ehiem round sponges (usually Petco has them, and they are blue in a box of 3 or 4). You can make this for less than $60.00-$70.00 if you have powerheads already. My tank has had one for almost two years, and ZERO nitrates. Water changes are still needed though. The one you build will out perform that one also. There does not appear to be any recircualtion in side of that one. Having the water recirculate inside of the reactor is really important. They just use a RO water chamber in the one on the link you posted. I tried one of those first years ago, and did not have good luck with it.
