in need of lights for 55g

my lights just decided to finally give out so I am now in the market for new or used lighting 48" for my 55g reef tank any ideas or any one have anything you might want to get rid of thanks for the help

 

Here is what we are using on our 55gal. We have two of the kits. They usually run a special on T5 lamps now and then as well.

I like the retro fit idea but I dont have a canapy for my tank

 

I would personally go for the new t-5s 6 bulb feature or 4 either would do great! Oh coralife by the way...

Norman... oh Norman... Do you have a light fixture that would work on a 55gal?

 

Just may have something. Have to look around. Depends on what he wants. Don't have t-5's but maybe some vho's or power compacts. Got some MH mogols with reflectors new, just need ballasts and bulbs. Travis you will just have to come and look around. Let me know when you are coming and I'll ask Marti if she can help and show you where she hid everything.

I seem to remember one there but not sure, it would be in the fish room if so, on the left wall.

 

I have the standard 2x48" t8 or t12 bulb setup that came with my 75. It was never really used.
