    I wanted to show you a photo of the Zoo's that you and Kathy gave us. They are doing great! :)

    NICE shot. They never would open up like that for us. Something about our lights or water flow or something they didn't like.
     
  3. They really look fantastic. I wish that I was a zoo fan - I try with a few colonies but they just don't float my boat. Did you use a tripod for this particular shot?

    Those are not zoas. They are palyothoa/palys. The slang name for them are Green Implosion. You can tell the difference in zoas and palys when they close up. The zoas grow together. palys are individual polyps. When palys close up they have white spots on them. They take small particles they take out of the water. Not trying to be a know it all I just want to help. Put them under HIGH actinic lights and some Iodine and they will GLOW like crazy.

    Chris- Yes I did! I like to use the tripod on the corals. For me they turn out a little better. :)
