This is a 240, mostly sps and lps with a few softies and rics, no refug, 1/2" to 1" of substrate. Dose calcium chloride and reef builder daily, no other additives. Use a 100 micron sock on the 2 dump lines to the sump with a deltec skimmer. Do 5 gal weekly water changes stir the open substrate with a stick. Feed twice a day, formula 2 in the morning, frozen mysis, frozen spiralina brine, frozen coral mix, and coral frenzy in the evening 20 mins. before lights out. T-5 lighting with 1 250 MH pendent. Sump return is a dart pump through 3 sea swirls, circ. is 2 6100 tunzes on a contoller.

    John,
All the best to you and your wife on the move back north. I have enjoyed the many conversations and conflicts we have endured in the short time you have been among the chosen people of the south !!!. Would be great to say I will visit you in your new home, but unless I get along a lot better in the near future I don't see that happening. Maybe you can get involved with a big club up there and plan to host MACNA one year. Would be a great time and great visit. All the health and safety wishes in your travels and please keep in touch.

The feeling is mutual Norman. Actually we well be moving back into our old house and property that we were carryiing the loan on ourselves and had to foreclose on, or you would have to put up with me as we weren't planning on moving back. I already am a member of the Puget Sound Aquarium Society and have been for 13 years. The website is www.reeffrontiers.com, check it out. I think the pics of the same tank is still on there from when it was up there, same handle. Yeh I'll be going back to being a yankee. Good luck and get well soon. I well be talking at you and posting still on here.
