Hiya, Not sure if my Kole tang is weird or what? I bought some Rod's Reef's algea sheets and have put them in the tank several times for the Kole and he ignores it. For that matter, NONE of my fish eat it. It's not old, so what gives? Kim/Benton, AR
That is weird. I bet he just doesn't recognize it as food. If you have some Selcon try soaking it in it to attract him to it. My fish were also kind of afraid of the veggie clip as it moved with the current (not any more). Try tying/rubber band to a rock and see if he picks at it. Once he tries it he'll be hooked. Even my wrasses and clowns like Nori. http://s47.photobucket.com/user/huntindoc/media/aquarium/20131005_161058_zps691143f2.mp4.html
Hiya, I'll try rubber banding it to a piece of rock and dropping it in there. The clip maybe scaring him, a few of the chromis have approached it, but no one's eating from it but the snails. Kim/Benton, AR
Normally when I had a tang not eat seaweed, I would soak it in a bit of garlic. Worked pretty well at the store on tangs and angels.
