    I have a 48" wavepoint fixture 4 bulb for $100 or a 48" Aquaticlife fixture LED for $400.

Not a bad deal, but you will probably want to replace the bulbs that come with that fixture with some Geismanns or something like that.

That being said, if you would prefer MH I have a few of those laying around :)

Greg, Thanks for the offer, wish i had known earlier.

Carl, This is what i was looking for, as in do i need to upgrade the bulbs or add more lighting. I should have been more specific. I love the fixture. Very bright though. My living room looks like something out of a Si-fi movie when the lights are on. May look into MH later but need to adjust myself to how bright these are. Or possibly have a hood made to keep the light in the tank.

I replaced one bulb in this fixture with geissman (sp) daylight bulb. Any suggestion on the others? I do not know what each bulb does.

Good information Mike: If I remember correctly you have a 4' fixture; I have some used bulbs of each but AquaFlora is you want to run by and get them. Then you can play around with the mix to see what pleases you.
