Has anybody heard of a Lionfish eating featherduster worms.? I got my wife a beautifully purple featherduster and it's gone. The tube is there but the worm is gone.

    Hiya,

It might have gotten stressed and blew it's feather. It should go back.

My coco worm shed it's crown and grew it back. You should see it back out in a week or two if it's surviving.

  5. I thought I lost my duster. He disappeared for weeks. I could see quite far into the tube, but I couldn't see him. I finally tugged the empty tube out to verify it was gone. The feather had built it out and under a large rock quite a ways. Sure enough...no worm. Two weeks later he pops his crown tips back up out of the sand, just under the rock edge! In the same location. He's been building a new tube since.
