    Hiya,

Found my tank stuck to my intake for my HOB last night. Bummed about it. I've only had him for a few years, got him at Reef Fest in Searcy. He was a little skinny so not sure he was getting enough of the algea sheets I was putting in. My green corris wrasse is a little greedy.

Kinda wondering what I could put into the tank now that could out compete that stinker. I've got a flameback angle, six line wrasse, a goby that doesn't take any shit and the corris wrasse. Tried a yellow faced blenny and it didn't make it. Not aggressive enough.

Contemplating another tang, or maybe a fox face.

I think fox faces are kinda passive, might not be a good idea.

I've always had luck with the sailfin tangs like purple, yellow, scopas, gem ;p lol

I don't think a purple tang would take any gruff off of a wrasse. Won't outgrow your tank like some other tangs would. What kind of tang did you have before?

Yeah I had a purple in my 40 before I killed everything and it did very well. Great fish

Purple tangs will hold their own.

    Hiya,

I had a yellow tang. Not sure I can afford a purple...love them though.

I don't have to replace the fish with another tang. Just something that can hold it's own.

I've got a yellow tang and magnificent foxface in my tank with my yellow flasher wrasse. They all get along. Not sure if the temperament is different on the kind of wrasse I've got. The magnificent fox face is more expensive than a regular fox face, but I really like that fish.
