Well, with Regina's help, I finally moved my tank today. I'm pretty nervous about it, the tank is cloudy and my heater isn't getting the temp up. PH is way off from the bucket my fish are currently in to the new water in the tank. I've moved fresh water tanks before, but salt, no. I'm probably going to have plenty of monty frags if folks are interested. I dropped the main piece and I know several large pieces broke off. Won't know the extent of the damage until it clears up some. Needless to say, I'll be on pins and needles for the next few days as the tank settles down. Kim/Benton, AR
It always looks worse than it actually is. Just watch it clear up faster than you think it will. I wish you good luck with the move. I'm always glad when it's all over !!!
Tank was clear this morning when I put the light on, so I was able to do some land scapping. Still not happy with the way it is, but at least it looks like everything is going to make it. I've been able to account for all the fish, so that's good. The amount of silt in the tank amazes me though. I'm going to need to see if I can borrow/buy a siphon and pull some of it out. I'm amazed at the amount of space to add some corals to the tank though. ::Grin:: Granted, I do need to place the frags that I have so that may change. Kim/Benton, AR
Hiya, Well, aqua scaping is done and it looks like I've got plenty of room to place the frags that I've been collecting. Almost everything is looking good. I may loose the farve frag from the last meeting. It got buried underneath some substrate, then the pink spotted goby thought it would make a good addition to his new home. Haven't heard/seen my pistol shrimp, but I"m not to worried. It's probably still around. Vacuumed a bunch of silt out of the tank today, hoping it was covering my coraline, but no such luck. Back to the drawing board with getting my stuff to look nice again. Kim/Benton, AR
