The heads of these keep popping out of my rock. When I try to touch them the retract into the rock. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1359900725.733079.jpg

Not like any I've seen before. It is solid like a zoa, reddish brow.

Both are considered pest anemones. There are several "removal" methods. Personally I would suggest doing a search and reading up in the various methods and decide which is going to be right for you. There are lasers, chemicals, slash/burn, shrimps, electro shock, etc. Last night I did away with one via mini torch and superglue..however I was in midst of moving rock from 1 tank to another so was easy for me. Just have to make sure the spaghetti worm also living in said rock is ok today. But honestly do bit of research on removal methods..decide which is best for you and your rock. :)

Can you get a clearer image? it looks familiar I think I have a couple in my aquarium. It grew out of the live rock, what have isnt really a pest. It doesnt grow like wildfire.

Can't quite tell from the picture quality, but the one right above it seems to have a second ring of testicles which makes me want to say it's a Mojano. both Mojano's and Aiptasia are normally not a nuisance at first but will take over an aquarium every single time if the problem is not taken care of quickly.
