after getting my new ac3 in it was up and running with in 30 minutes. i only have it controlling heat and lighting now but will have fans and alarms programed in within a couple days. programing is very simple after you get the feel for it and it has several preset programs in it already to make it user friendly. the dc8's work very good and are very well designed. i am above impressed with the unit and so far would recommend it to anyone.

as far as customer service goes, i talked to neptune systems on rc before purchase and they were very friendly and helpful. the only oversite was that i didnt get any ph calibration fluid to calibrate the ph probe and it wasnt mentioned that it was not part of the original package. a minor oversite imo. i will be going to north side tomorrow to pick some up.

    update
1 week in and something happened to one of the dc8's . i was only running 800w or 6.6 amps total thru it and in can hold 15 amps max. something sizzled and it shut down everything on it. luckily i was redundant and bought an extra one for back up. plugged it in and everythings up and running again. i posted on rc under neptunes forum and am awaiting a response as to what happened or what to do next. hopefully their customer service will be quick and helpful since its a week old. i will update again tomorrow after hearing from them.

Three weeks seems really slow. Why did it take so long?

i will attribute 1 1/2 weeks to northsides handling. ginny gave it to the higher ups but it set almost a week without being shipped. i had another one that i bought as a just in case so i wasnt in a hurry and didnt rush it.
