Now that the twin 180 project is starting to wind down, I get to start planing a bio-community. I think that Ill stay away from large fish and go small. Possibly a bartlets anthias school when 2007 splash is here!
I'm going to have a 120 ready for corals by then. I'm really forward to the Splash, I plan on doing some serious stocking then. I'm also going to stick to small fish. I like the invert's quite a bit too.
I don't know if you are going with SPS or not but if you are, Chromis are cheap and beautiful schooling in, out, and through the branches.
So about what can you get them for during Splash? I saw one and loved it but it was 40 smackers if memory serves correctly.
I started stocking the tanks, I have two little green chromis in one tank along with a lawnmower blenny, the other 180 has a single lawnmower blenny. I have had problems with the fish giting traped in the corner overflow allready, talk about a pita, its a confined space and extremely difficult to remove the fish. I did a diy fish trap and removed the lawnmower blenny from the overflow, the green chromis is proving to be a real pita. Within the next month or so ill move the maroon clown pair over from the clam tank to the twin 180s...
