I was told that Ocellaris Clowns do better in pairs. Is this correct or BS?

They will do okay either way.

Also look around at the different batches of clowns. Some will vary in color.

Thank you for the advice. Would any of you have any suggestions for corals. I prefer bright colors, I guess it's because my inner child. I know zoas/palys, mushrooms, and leather are supposed to be good for beginners. I think I pretty much have the zoas picked that I want but not sure about anything else. Are red tip tree corals ok for beginners?

    Tree corals?
A cans are super easy. They have lots of nice colors and you can feed them if you want to.

Yeah you would need to feed it. Not every night but maybe 3 nights out of the week. Basically just feed the tank and you should bee fine.

Awesome! Thanks for the help. I really appreciate all of the advice I 've been getting on here. I've know I've been asking quite a few questions, but I'd rather ask and plan way ahead then kill a tank full of animals. I will stick with easier coral for a while, but at some point I want to try some frogspawn. I see everywhere says to give them plenty of room, but how much is plenty?

If you make it to the meeting there will be some of that.

I plan on coming when I get back. I'm deployed right now tho, so sadly I'm stuck with this. I can't wait to get my tank going. I almost had the stand finished before I left. I just need to trim it and put doors on it. Then I will build a canopy and get the tank going.

What kind of lights you plan to put over your tank?

Ocean Revive S026 I've read a lot of good reviews on other forums. I actually couldn't find a bad review of them, so I figured I will give them a shot.

Here is what my stand looks like so far. It's the first thing I've ever built out of wood, but it was kind of fun.

Thank you. Im not sure why I stained it before I trimmed it but I guess it doesn't matter. Have you heard anything bad about ocean revive lights?

I was wondering if I decide to drill my tank how how large the hole should be? Also, how far below the top of the overflow box?
