All I can say is generator. Bought one this past summer. We were without power for 36 hours. We had TV, fridge, radiator heater, light, and the tank had pumps and heat. Couple that with a grill and camp stove and we did well. Generator is well worth the investment. Keep an eye out as the year goes on. The warmer the weather is the more you will see on craigs list people trying to sell them to go on vacation. We only have a 3250 watt and it was plenty. -Blake
