I have come to rant and rave. There is another site here on the net that is a central meeting place for reef keeping. I won't name any names. I just got edited for using gla$$cages.com because there system automatically censors glasscages.com out. I was told not to use "cute" spelling to get around the censors. I said if it was cute I would have dotted the "I's" with hearts and used smiley faces for periods. These mods are so hung up on playing "I'm god of the internet" it's not even funny. So much for free exchange of ideas. If they were so smart they could figure out how to set the time so it isn't 20 hours behind. I think I'm gonna quit even going there. Can someone suggest another good reefing site (besides the best, our own of course) to browse. Somewhere they don't censor everthing they don't like or agree with.
Sorry to hear the mods on that forum are like that. I'm new to the hobby so I don't know which one you're talking about, but I have been looking at www.reefsanctuary.com, and there is a lot of good information there. It seems pretty laid back too.
+1 www.reefsanctuary.com The owner Travis Stuart - selected the name " a reef forum sanctuary" because it is a real Sanctuary of reef forums ! No flames and lots of great members !!! I have have been active daily there with over 7,000 post in the last year & must have read 100,000 post... great site !!! All the Mods & Admins reflect the owners "tone" a real Sanctuary of reef forums.
