I'm having a slight issue with some red slime. I have an RODI system, so I feel like I shouldn't be having this issue. I need to take some of my water and get it tested, but does anyone else have this issue in Bryant? I'm wondering if the city water just has too much stuff in it for the RODI to get everything.

What about your flow? If you increase flow, you might see a decrease in it.

My flow is pretty high. Have two pumps in a 20g. Never had this issue until I started using my RODI. Always just bought my water from The Fish Tank.

You can get a TDS meter pretty cheap. I am not sure if you are using a new RO unit. But the filters or membrane might need changed. I would get a TDS meter, and go from there.

yeah, my suggestion would have been flow first, maybe over feeding second, and possibly leaving your lights on to long. It is also possible that you're filters on the RO unit may need changed.

The filters are still fairly new, and it started from the onset of using the RODI from home. I'll check out a TDS meter

How old are the lights on your tank?
