    Blue Eyed Cardinals - 2
    Niger Trigger - 1

I have quite a few fish in this tank but I have committed to doing maintenance every week with water changes and feedings.  I would not recommend having this many fish in a 29 gallon unless you were committed to doing great maintenance.  I have actually added one more fish since this video was taken a 50 cent size yellow tang which has really completed the tank as far as the variety of fish that I want.  My favorites are the Blue Eyed Cardinals.

  4. I never guessed the Niger Trigger because he so little ... he so pretty !!!
How long will it take him to like double in size, any idea?

    Fairy Wrasse  is  just gorgeous

  5. This is a picture of the tank since it has been aquascaped and changed out the sand to sugar fine.

  6. Gorgeous !

Chris - what all do you feed your tang?

  7. I decided that a video would show off the changes a little bit better.  I used pvc to aquascape which allowed me a lot more space for animals. I also got rid of the crushed coral substrate for sand and did the change out just like I would if I were moving the tank.  I put all of the water in a trash can with the rock, fish and corals in a bucket and out came the coral in with the sand and aquascaping.  It is very difficult to aquascape in water as most of the rocks had animals on them so I was pretty much blind, but it turned out pretty good I think.  I was glad to have the Zenya in the back of the tank and with the addition of a leather in the center I have a nice amount of height. I still plan on adding a few more zoos but for the most part it is maxed out.  I do water changes about every two weeks of 5 gallons which I think allows me to keep so many fish. I feed them well and will eventually have to trade out the tank and trigger for smaller fish but I am very pleased for the time being. I feed the brain pellet food at night along with the zoos which gobble them up. I occasionally feed the tank Reef Chillie and the tang some nori so with all the bio load and food biweekly water changes are a must.  I have moved the sps that are on the rack to the sps tank just after I made the video.  I have been pleased with how well they have done under the 105 watt pc lighting. I keep my Ca+, Alk and Mg up with bulk reef supply two part solution and run carbon through a mag 350 which also contributes a bunch to helping me keep such a high bio load. Even with only two nano's I purchase the 5 gallon buckets of carbon, also from Bulk Reef Supply.  That is pretty much the whole system.

You have done a great job with the nano tanks. Can't wait to see the other one once the corals are in place.
