snails have bred

    I didn't thinks snails are capable of breeding in an aquarium. I thought since they only live for about a year in an aquarium it would be difficult, unless you had some kind of big breeding operation.

    I have several baby turbos in my RSM. You only see them at night, they stay pretty hidden during the day. My nerites lay eggs all over the place, too.

    Lucky on turbos, I also saw a black baby snail crawling on live rock not sure what it is though.

    snails breed like crazy in most aquariums, my fish or starfish eat my eggs before they hatch though...

    Hopefully they will survive, the hermit crabs have gone to war with snails for shells, I went out and picked up shells yesterday to curb the problem and picked up 2 emarld crabs several hermits, and 2 peppermint shrimp that I really get a kick out of, one i thought died today but was actually moltening, which I didn't expect to happen this soon.
