I have turned the 55 gallon into an (almost) fish only tank. This weekend I added a Valentini Puffer & and Lemonpeel Dwarf Angel. I am looking for a 3rd fish to round out the stocking list. I was thinking maybe an Undulate Trigger, Niger Trigger, or a Picasso Trigger. The tank will be stocked with the 3 fish only. No inverts. I have some leathers & mushrooms in the tank will be adding a couple more pieces of live rock to make some caves. Other than that, there is nothing else in the tank. Tank is running with two Seio 620 powerheads and a AquaC Remora HOB skimmer. Suggestions? Thanks.

Out of the three triggers you suggested the niger is the one I would choose. Considering size and temperment I think that would be the best choice. Glad to see your tank is doing well and hope to see you at the next meeting.

I am also looking at the Blue-jaw trigger. My first choice is the Picasso Trigger (state fish of Hawaii). It states they can get more aggressive as they get older. However, the tank size minimum is lower for this fish than for the Niger Trigger. I know it depends on the individual fish, but how much of a chance would I be taking with a Picasso. Nice looking fish, and price is good. Suggestions appreciated. Thanks Fisher12. I have to make one of these meetings! I've been a club member for over a year and have only been to Reef Fest! College Football steals my Saturdays this time of year! :)

I would go for the niger also, the picasso can get very aggressive and that lemon peel may not survive.
