Picked up this tank from Kim at Reef Fest. I'm starting the cycle. I'm not sure if I'm going to only keep corals in this or what. I'm thinking it probably would be best to do corals only, b/c of the bioload risks that could easily get out of hand. Zoas and Ricordeas are obvious choices for this tank. I might try an LPS or two, not sure yet.

If you are concerned about bioload, spend 30 dollars on BRS and get some marinepure. Cut it to with a hacksaw size and there you go.

    Hiya,

Glad to see you got it up and running. I had rics in there and they did great.

A single clown goby would not produce much bioload. The good thing about pico's is nutrients are easy to control with water changes. A 3 gallon water change in my 4 gallon IM reduces nitrates by 75%. Zoas and Rics should love nitrates around 10 or so. A couple of sexy shrimp would be another cool inhabitant!

I agree with the Marine Pure. They also make spheres but they may also be too big for the space you have for filtration.
