We have some Acanthastrea that we bought at MACNA in Pittsburgh. The number of polyps has at least doubled but they are not expanding beyond the rock they came on. The colony doesn't seem to be doing well and I think it's because they're too crowded. How can I transplant a bunch of the polyps to another rock? Pushing them up against another rock to get them to move on their own didn't seem to work.

When we get the band saw we can frag it into the sizes you would like. Then mount them on larger rocks for them to expand on. Of course with a small frag donation !!!

Has the saw been ordered? Let's try it out at the Feb meeting at my house.

I ordered it Monday and it should be in soon. Expect about a week or so. I will bring it to your house and we can try it out on those Acans.
What is your program going to be for the meeting, and can we bring anything to help with lunch?
