I ordered a ReefTek kalk reactor recently. I received the shipping confirmation about five days later which was expected since they build to order. Excitedly, I checked the tracking info and they had shipped my reactor to Delaware!. I contacted ReefTek about the mistake and they had FedEx reroute it to Arkadelphia. I guess I'll get it some day. Next, I bought some live rock on-line. It was supposed to be delivered today. The FedEx tracking info said it was on the truck for delivery. It didn't show up so I checked the tracking info again. Somehow the shipment had gotten damaged after it was loaded on the truck and was being handled by the "policy of the shipper". Who knows when I'll get it. Moral of the story: Buy from your local LFS!!!
I have never had problems with FedEx like you are having. I generally prefer UPS and USPS for non critical things. FedEX is good about overnight stuff but then again I live 2 miles for the Little Rock airport. Absolutly under no circumstances do I allow anyone to use DHL to ship to me. I have lost 2 orders via DHL who has horrid customer service.
