If it looks like a hollow green tube and there is a larger mass under the algae is most likely a sponge
The green shoots are very common. I have had them in all my tanks in the beginning. Once your parameters are all where they should be you will watch them turn white and die like the one in the pic. Never have gotten a name on them and they can be cool and very pretty when they cluster up but none the less I have never had any survive. Sent from my Desire HD using Tapatalk
