Well after over a month I have a rogue clownfish. She started by picking on her mate (apparently not) so I removed him and she quit for a day or two and he has more or less recovered.

Today she decided to go after our mandarin dragonet. As you can see by the pic he is in pretty rough shape. I have him seperated now.

My question is do u think he can recover from the injuries? He isn't eating tigger pods and seems to have no interest in swimming either.

Man that's messed up is this the clown you got from cost? You are probably better off taking that female out and putting her in the five or something and letting that little guy get well again . I'm sure he is very truamatized be the recent declaration of war by that clownfish.

I say separate the bully fish and pawn it off on someone else if it is picking on all the fish.

she isn't picking on all of them, just the other clown and the mandarin. Our yellow tang and blue damsel can hold their own, and the firefish can hide pretty well.

I think I will get rid of her though. Might put her in the tank with our mantis shrimp. He's a smasher, so I don't think he will mess with her, but even if he does it won't hurt my feelings. That mandarin is my favorite fish.....

It looks like there is only fin damage, which most fish can easily grow back.  He just needs a nice vacation and some rest.  A mandarin can go a while with out eating if its as fat as that one.  I think he will start eating again and then start healing up nicely : )

Yea, he's doing better now. He was chasing pods and doing pretty good yesterday. His fins still look like crap but.....

My main concern were his little hover fins on the sides ( like the technical term? :) ). They were messed up enough he wasn't moving unless I tried to touch him. When it happened I was able to catch him by hand because of it. He seems like he is gonna be alright now. He's like a little hover craft in the specimen container now. It's funny to watch him go after tigger pods because they swim rather than hang out on the rocks.

And the clown was one of the ones I got from Jason a month or so ago.
