my coral banded shrimp when i got him he lost one of his main arms with pincher on it got cought up in net when cought but now he has molted and grew anew one all in about a weeks time norman you were right thats what you told me and wow it happened im amazed it grew back so fast
don't know if this is so... but I read a post that said this... Check for blue dots at the base of the largest pair of claws. If they are there its a girl, if not its a boy. Size is also a determining feature (females are bigger), but would be less sure .
