Great time at the meeting. Thanks Norman for hosting. Raised over$200 for the club with the auction. Can't wait till the next one.

    Hiya,

Yeah...the meat was GREAT!!! Sooo tender. Corals I got from the auction are doing good as well as the meeting coral and the dirty Santa. Have a wonderful time...even if everyone was mean to me and stole everything thing I picked.

And now that I'm thinking about it...Norman, did you find a green umbrella frag there? I'm pretty sure I won that and I think I left it near one of the tanks. If I did, could you take care of it until the next meeting for me.

Awesome meeting. Glad we raised some funds for the club. Shawn will we be doing the auction at every meeting?

Has the club ever given any thought to moving the Dec meeting a week earlier? I bet a few people will always have a family gathering that Sat every year. Just a thought, might increase participation. I hate I had to miss what sounds like the best meeting of the year!

Here's a photo of the beautiful frag that the club provided. They really did a good job picking it out! (You might have to click on the image to view it).

It was a great meeting. Great BBQ Norman, amazing as always. I walked away with two great zoa frags from Dirty Santa provided by Shawn, I got a great acro frag for $26 from the auction provided by Cory who also gave me 4 heads of neon candy cane, a beautiful favia provided by the club and I ended up with two heads of frogspawn some how. We should also note we raised the monthly coral budget. Very successful meeting...

    Hiya,

Greg, I bet the frogspawn was supposed to end up with Shawn.

Sounds like you cleaned up as usual Greg. ;) I look at my tank and between corals I got from other members (like you!) and those from meetings it's like 75% of my tank!

Thanks Kim, I really hate that for Shawn; he doesn't have room in his tank for what he has now.

Exactly to point I was trying to make; members scrore big with RRMAS; between meetings, events, buying and trading with other members you can fill a tank or overfill a tank. $25 membership is well spent, you get great corals (some you would have never bought yourself).

I also think this was the best meeting of the year. I always enjoy feeding people who aren't afraid to eat. I ended up with some nice corals myself and will be glad when my tanks are ready to start sharing coral with everyone, I already look forward to the next meeting at my house. We also discussed some needed changes in the structure of meetings for the coming year and with the addition of a membership director and activities director, things should run much smoother and leave the club meetings for instruction, education, and activities. Heres to a successful 2014 !!!
