Is the chalice responding well to light? I purchased a frag of it at the last meeting. Everything I've read online says to put them low in the tank, in lower light / flow. I've got it at the bottom of my tank in a shady area. I would love to move it a little higher in my tank so it was easier to view. Judging from the photo of yours, it looks like you have more light on yours than I do. (I'm running Maxspect Razor 16K LED's)
Time for an update with credit to all of the Razorback Reef guys that have supplied frags for my tank (club frags included). Stunner chalice from the Fish Bowl meeting. The remodeling is pretty cool for a month.

For some reason I can't get pics to load...reason for the links.
Looking good. I've got the magician plays too, and really like them. Yours seems to be doing great. I'm interested in seeing the transformation in that acro if you don't mind posting progress photos every now and then. I'm new to the SPS corals, and am really fascinated by them and seeing how they grow and transform. I've got a few SPS frags over the past couple of months, and it has been really neat to see them start changing.
And that chalice is doing really good! Mine aren't looking nowhere near like that. Big change in the before and after photo.
Here's a the two green acros I've had the longest. These pics arr mid August and a couple of weeks ago http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f164/huntindoc/secondtry004_zps0425c3ab.jpg http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f164/huntindoc/secondtry016_zps64db1b4b.jpg
Here's the other. Sept 1 and and mid Nov View attachment 20130908_201139.jpg View attachment 20130908_201139.jpg
I don't know why but the site's not letting me post pictures for some reason. Here's the links. Mid August and mid Nov. Accidently broke a large branch off between the two pics http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f164/huntindoc/secondtry004_zps0425c3ab.jpg http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f164/huntindoc/secondtry016_zps64db1b4b.jpg This one Sept 1 and mid Nov. http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f164/huntindoc/20130908_201139_zps64f863ec.jpg http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f164/huntindoc/20131122_182825_zpsd5212072.jpg
The growth on those look good to me! The second one seems to have really grown when you look at the plug it is on. It has totally covered it in the second pic! And the first one has lots of growth and new branches on it too. I seen the photos you posted in the photo contest, and the tank is looking really good. I hope that you are planning on filling up the sandbed with LPS. Is that a button coral on the sandbed in the middle? (I'm not sure if it's called a button, meat, or cat's eye coral). They are the ones that are the largest single polyp corals. But I really like those. It is interesting to watch them throughout the day and see how much they change. I've also been having problems uploading photos, but maybe when they get the site updated, it will fix those issues.
That's a lobophyllia. There's a thread (I think under General) about it eating a fire shrimp molt a few weeks ago.
A few new additions. Wantanbei Angel and Coris Wrasse completed QT and moved to the big house today. Blue chalice and green cyphastrea with red polyps
John, here's a pic of the dragon eyes I got from you. The colony has probably doubled in size since I got it from you.
