Looks like a pump disaster to me. I think most of us have way too much flow in our display tanks, maybe a good candidate for a refug. Very cool starfish. I have had one several years ago and they were considered very difficult to keep. Now may be a different story with all the new advancements. I see them for sale pretty often and have thought about getting one. That bright red one may have made up my mind for me !!!

If thats starfish were to be in my tank I can foresee it getting chopped into tiny bite sized pieces for my fish as a little snack. It does look like a good candidate for a refuge. I think that a refuge is a good place to keep the odd and unusual.

I was thinking the same thing, but everything I've read says it needs strong flow.  So I need to hide my koralias in my tank somehow to keep him safe.

That is one of the feather stars and I am thinking they have the survival rate of the basket stars which is none!
