<span class="prodScientificName">I've wanted a Pomacanthus Imperator since the day I bought my first aquarium about 2.5 years ago.  Well about two weeks ago a large juvenile popped up on our orde rform at work and I did a back flip.  Was acclimated to my big tank since I felt my QT was  little to small for him but my large sailfin didn't like him at all.  So for now he is in my 20g refugium and loving it!!!  </span>

My next project is to divide the tank 70% for my two lions, grouper, and sailfin.  and 30% for my maroon clown and new angel.  To let my tang get all his anger out with out doing any damage.
He is about 4-5 inches, as well as a bit camera shy, but as of today he is eating seaweed out of my hand.

How can I get rid of "<span class="prodScientificName">" in my post, when I click edit it's not in the text box, but it is in the preview and when I post it.

Congrats Will! My blueface angel loves the new life spectrum pellets. Also ocean nutrition makes an angelfish formula that has sponges in the formula. Good luck.

  5. The html coding in your message comes from copy and pasting which is not currently being addressed with this forums editor because we will be moving to a new forum structure in the coming year.
Congradulations on your emperator - How is he doing?   I picked up a small coral beauty that Jack at The Fish Bowl had on special for $10 at out last event there.  He is doing great - at least I think it is a she, does anyone know about sexing coral beauties.

Possibly the fins being rounded means its a female where as the fins on males come to more of a point. I think John that we had at the event last year touched bases on that subject if I'm not mistaken.

Its actually inherently female unless its dominate the are hermaphroditic and can be either

  9. My Coral Beauty that I got from The Fish Bowl is doing great. He had quite a bit of fin fray when I brought him home but that is all gone now with his health diet. I have always loved this angel even though is is consider a rather common fish. I feel it is by far the most resilient of the dwarf species. He started out with a little ich but I do not get particularly alarmed by a new fish getting a mild case that is specific to him. I have found it rather common with new additions, especially for angels and tangs. I think I may add one more fish to this tank, another commoner that I love - a royal gramma.

Those are awesome fish that are overlooked quite a bit these days.

He is doing great, finally got him moved over the Main Display tank.  I can't wait till he starts to change to his adult colorations.
