I have a lot of these thing around my corals.  For months i have not been able to figue out what is ramdomly causing most of my corals to die. I have tested water like crazy and everything is perfect. I even took sample to LFS and they couldnt find anything wrong.  I do 35 gallon water change on 225 every week.  Bought all new bulbs.  Water quality, and lighting are ruled out.  I have also looked for pest as in red bugs by taking affected coral out and putting into coral rx and then blowing them off with a powerhead to see if anything came off and nothing. Acros, Montis, Millis and just about any other sps i have has died, but a few of them are doing well and growing.  I even have a large millipora that i had broken off a piece and put on the other side of the tank and the large collony died and the small part is doing great.  Yesterday i did notice I have a few vermetid snalls around a lot of the affected coral.  Maybe the mystery is solved? Idk.  I have read to try Copper banded butterfly (not a fish I want), emerald crabs (already have 3), Hawaiian hermits (do not have, but do have many other hermits) and peppermint shrimp(have none).  The main other fix i have seen was super glue. i spot of glue in their tube and they are done.  My issue is there are so many that it would take forever to do, but main problem is i can not reach all of them.  My tank is built into the wall and the bottom about 4' off the flour, so i have access at the back of the tank in what i call my aquarium room.  It is about 12' by 6' with all my equipment in it. The bottom front of my tank i just cannot reach.  I was hoping someone has had some luck with these vermetid snail or good information. Some say they are no problem and others say they can kill coral.  Any help is appreciated, I really need to find out what is going on with my coral.  I'm putting too much money in to just have them all die.  If anyone has any ideas or would want to come and take a look at my tank, that would be cool. Thanks.
