I'm so lazy that i dont want to put fort the effort to drill my 10 Gallon... Anyone interested in doing all the work for me and then just selling it to me? -me
you might try reading thru my 14 gallon wally world tank thread in DIY forum.. after shattering the 14 i went with a backup 10gallon and make it a corner overflow tank. i read thru your plans for your 10gallon and the only thoughts of concern i have so far are what brand is it and remind you that almost all tanks that are partially tempered and almost 100% atleast tempered on the bottom and im thinking the 10 gallon family would fall into this bottom tempered category.. so i guess you need to decide if u can live with a side / back drilled 10 gallon and well go from there.... mine is side drilled with a custom overflow.... unlike glasscages.com my overflow cost me about $10 and some silicon. as for putting a heater in your overflow i think that could be done with my method of overflow but i would have to get a source for larger pipe. but that shouldnt be a problem. anyone in the club work a plumbing company or for the water dept somewhere ??? pm me if you do please i may have just got nominated the nano driller somehow.
