    Hiya,

    Plug for Kevin at Paradise Pets!!! He is less then 10 minutes from my house and that's if you get caught in traffic. If you haven't been to his store, please take some time. You won't find a cleaner store.

    Also, all innovative tanks are 20% off right now. He currently has a 16, 8 and one of the middle sized one's I can't remember. He also has a complete 60 gallon reef ready with stand set up for 20% off. Plenty of Rod's Reef food in stock. His old fridge finally died (YEAH) so he had to buy a new one. It's a lot easier to find frozen foods in now. He also has lay away, so if you've been thinking of upgrading a tank or just buying another one, he'll work you a deal.

    Okay, shameless plug done. I'm trying to get him to do a better the normal order for next week, but not sure how that will work out.

    I dont understand why the LFS don't stock up when a meeting is at their store or near there store. It would be nice to have some nice corals and fish something different from the norm. It may also help if the LFS could find out what people are looking for. Paradise Pets is a nice store but they always have the norm. I was in Benton today and didn't stop by because I knew there wouldnt be anything different for me to see.

    Hiya,

    I feel your pain. We've been after Kevin to change it up for years. I am going to see if I can get him to order a few different items. Problem is, the place he orders from doesn't have a whole lot of selection. He only gets a really good selection when he orders from Florida and he's not down enough in stock to order from them yet. We'll see what I can do.

    As how to find my house. If you're coming from Little Rock. From I-30 take exit 117, go down the service road, take the first right after you go under the overpass. That's Heights, the second left is Denver. My house is on the left. Oh, watch the dip in the road...it is pretty good.

    If you're coming from the other direction. From I-30 take exit 117, cross over the interstate. Take the first left, Valley View. Go through the first stop sign. At the second one, take a left onto Holly. At the next stop sign, take a Right onto Heights, first left is Denver.

    Denver is a dead end street. You can park pretty much anyplace on myside of the street past my house, up to the big shop. There is some room across the street next to the 909 house. We do need to leave some room so people can get down the street.

    When we have our events the stores order up pretty good to have a great selection. It does make sense to order more on weeks of meetings if they are close. But if no body shows its wasted effort and money. So if we do get our sponsors to order more for the week of the meeting we have to show that it works.

    Hello everyone. I'm going to try to make the meeting if my daughter's game is not during that time. It will be my first meeting if I'm able to. I will know later this week the time of her game and will sign up to bring something for the potluck if I do get to come. Anything else I need to know or bring? Are kids allowed? My 10 & 12 year old girls have really gotten into this with me. But I understand if they can't. Hope I get to meet everyone.

    By all means bring the kids, they are the future of this hobby and it is great they are interested in a family activity.

    WOW!!!!!! LOL. Thats what I'm talking about. I can plug all the LFS with that. I know everyone has their favorite store and I didn't mean to get in anyones feelings. When I made my comment I wasn't putting Paradise Pets down. I targeted them because thats the closes store to the next meeting but all the LFS stores do the same. I also know if the LFS buy extra and no one buys then the store loses out, thats why I feel if the club and the store communicatied better they could order what people wanted and everyone could gain from it. Sorry if I spoke to loud. This is just MY opinion.

    I personally only have one store I will not buy from. Each of the others that I have been to are unique and hold a place in my heart and bank account. I spread the love and money.
