Plumbing looks great. I like the idea of going with soft plumbing from the pump to the PVC. This will help cut down on vibration noise. I also like the bypass on your return line. You can run a GFO and carbon reactor from it later if you want to. Glad you like the Pukani rock. I sure like mine.

That is a good question. The answer is no you do not. I don't glue any of the plumbing inside of the overflow box. You may know this already but make sure you but the gaskets that comes with your bulkheads on the inside of the tank not on the outside where the nut is.

Have you tested your plumbing, I would fill your tank with RO to see if you have any leaks? Let it run a few days to make sure there are no small leaks. I would alos suggest putting eggcrate on the floor of the tank. Get an RO system, you will never regret it.

No leaks! Whole system is working and I am so glad I put the extra bypass in there because the Eheim 1260 was very strong and drained the sump faster than I could get water from the overflow. Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk
So I am planning on filling the tank with ro/di water and then putting in the salt mix to let it stir up, can I add the sand and rock first? Or do I have to wait. I figured putting in the sand and rock first would be easier but didn't want to mess up the water Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk
You know its really what is pleaseing to you, I would leave a gap in there, perhaps move the 3 rock left and leave that space empty where it was.
