Kathy and I had a good time. The speakers were excellent and there was lots of cool stuff in the exhibit hall. I picked up a couple of MH retro kits from Hellolights.com's booth. The Astros beat the Cardinals on a homer in the bottom of the 9th. Chris recorded the sessions and took lots of notes. He'll be posting stuff to the website. Houston's traffic engineering must be run by monkeys. The lack of directional signs is very tourist-unfriendly. Also, I'm getting too old to enjoy six hour drives.
Linda and I had a good time, we balanced Macna with visiting family and friends while we were in the Houston metro area. Also caught up on the great abundance of quality restaurants. Got a couple of my books autographed there. Picked up a real nice maxima clam, and several acro frags and a couple colony's for a great price, and loaded up on free stuff.
