Missing Blenny BTA to blame?

We have/had a linear blenny in our main DT, he has disappeared as of Sunday, I have checked all over the tank and can't find him, even looked in the overflows and the sump. Aside from taking the plumbing apart, he is nowhere to be found.

Looked around the tank to see if he decided to take the plunge, and no little fishies.

Has anyone ever heard of a BTA eating a blenny? he was about the same size as a silverside. I don't really have any reason to suspect this just curious if that is possible. If not, I think I have a Houdini fish, or he is very effectively hiding.

    Thanks in advance!

I have had a BTA eat a large size naso tang, well he ate some of it and let the rest go.

well, i think that may have been the culprit, because he was fat and happy the day before and now is nowhere to be seen, floor, sump overflow or elsewhere.

Never had that type of blenny I have a scooter and it loves to burrow under the sand he will even get under the live rock and burrow under there. Could this be possible with yours??

dont think so he was more of a swimming blenny he would hide in some rocks, but not for long periods. He was one of the most active of the tank critters. RIP "Benny"

Do you have a cat or dog that could have made an afternoon snack out of it, assuming it jumped out of your tank?
