yes the jokers seem to be doing very well. Thanks again! I really want to get some shots of the tank with a decent camera. This one doesnt do very well.
actually yes and no....the clarki was stuck in the LTA when I brought it home....he gets beaton pretty bad but they are letting up a little bit. He will host the bottom side on the amemeone when he can get away with it
Wish I could give you some encouragement about keeping multiple species of clowns together. In my experience it will work as long as they are juvenile, but when they grow some you will have major problems. My prediction is the Clarki will turn out to be the dominate fish and not tolerate the others. I have tried to keep two pair of clowns in my 400 with their own anemones on each end (8 feert apart). Worked till they matured and then one pair killed the other pair overnight. Remember they are damsels and have the same personalities. Best to decide which clowns you like the most and get 2 juveniles and let them pair up. Wish I could be more encouraging, but check around and I think you will find others with similar advise.
Fisher, im sure you are right...the skunk clown and the perc have been in the tank for about a year together and they never fight..the perc was actually the first fish i ever bought. the clarki came in the anemone i bought and I didnt know it. I would like to get the clarki out but that will be a challenge. I dont really even want the clarki. I doubt the clarki wil take the other two on due to its small size and beign the last fish in the tank. I will try to get him out. just wanted to let ya know it wasnt intentional to add the clarki. thanks
Did you buy the sump or make it your self? Im starting a new tank in a couple days and dont know if i want to spend the extra money for a sump tank when I can get a good quality power filter for around $40 with two bio wheels on it wich seem to be effective
Make the sump or buy one made. They are so much better at hiding your heater, protein skimmer and what ever else you may want to add. Plus it adds a little more water to your total tank water volume. Just my two cents.
