Do you have any specific questions about your tank? I think you are doing great to have had no real supervision, I'm just kinda taking that by your posts. I have seen a lot of people try and give up by this time. You seem to be doing right with your livestock selections, now maybe you could work on upgrading your equipment a little at a time. Aquascaping is kinda like an art form you develop with time. Whatever you like is the prefect way to do it.
Looking good! Although u might try different background. I find solid back colors give better contrast to show off live stock. Black really does well. Some like blue. But whatever u like is great. Tank still looks good, light really makes a difference.
