My Fluval Edge has been up and running almost a year now. I have it designated as a freshwater tank. However, it has shrimp in it--both Cherry Shrimp and a Bamboo Shrimp. I also have a guppy and a couple other small fish. I started with 15 Cherry Shrimp and now have over 30! These things multiply. Enjoy.
