Hey everyone I need a few sugestions on a new tank setup. I want a reef system so a little help on what would be easy for a beginner would be great. I have a 65gal display with a 20 high sump. For filtration I have a refugium in the sump with a DIY protein skimmer. My overflow is a Calflow design w/3 1" holes, I know I am not moving a much as I can but currently i'm only moving approx 500 gph. I have around 70 pds of LR and 2 Hydor #2's for flow. The only livestock I have is 14 crabs, 3 turbo snails, fox face, and a black and white damsel. The system is left over from an old one, and has been setup for about a month. Oh, I almost forgot.... lighting...I have 2 35" T5 VHO and 1 150w MH. Any imput would be great...Thanks
Sounds like a good setup and I am glad you got that tank drilled. I would just ride it out for a couple months to ensure stability.
