Next Wave 2011

Hello everyone.

I thought I'd make the rounds encouraging everyone within driving distance to attend our club's Next Wave conference.  This annual event brings in hundreds of people each year to learn how to be better aquarists.  We fly in four speakers to share their knowledge. 

This year we are coupling the educational event with Steve Tyree's Coral Famers Market(sm).  Not only will you have the opportunity to hear what Charles Delbeek, James Fatheree, Gerald Heslinga, and Matt Pederson, but you'll have the opportunity to purchase tank raised corals of all types.  Tyree's goal is to provide a huge selection of corals that are used to aquarium conditions, promoting propagation.  A good group of vendors have followed in his footsteps and will be on hand to answer your questions and send you home with some new items.

Wish I were going, visited Dallas last week end and went to some of the smorgasbord of fish stores that you have I am so jealous. Look forward to returning soon.

 

Next Wave is this Saturday.  Last push by me to invite your members.  We do realize it is a drive, but maybe the great raffle prizes will lure you.  How about a 120g Starphire tank and stand?  Anyone need one?

April, Zack and I are in Dallas!

Plan on visiting Dallas World Aquarium and a few LFSs tomorrow. Then Saturday, Next Wave!

 

Cindy and I am in Dallas weather is great. We are heading out to the World Aquarium and some of the local fish stores.

 

Well we made it to the Dallas World aquarium and 5 of the 100 stores they have here in the aera. There was lots of nice stuff. We took a lot of pictures and will post some this week.

 

I am jealous and wish I was there. Please take lots of pictures for those of that were not able to make the trip.

 

I hope everyone in dallas scores some nice items. Hope you guys take a bunch of pics for us who have to work this weekend.

 

Wife took a few there was a lot of people there we bought a few nice things.

 

What happened to the pics??? She had pics in the original threads before y'all moved the posts

I think it was prolly an accedent that has been blow way out of porportion... She said that some were moved and some where deleted.. that sounds like something didnt get transfered right or someone got called in the middle and was going to finish moving everything around later..

If she has deleted all the others though, well, I guess there is no need to bother..

Sucks kinda.. Pics are the only thing some people look at.. more pics the more traffic.

I can understand being mad for the post and pics being gone but still...

 

I moved all the pics over last night. Just to put it all together on one thread. I didn't delete any of them. What seems to be the problem.
