Hey everyone, Reef Fest is right around the corner. It will be held on Saturday November 21st at the Fish Bowl in Searcy. Lets start advertising and make this even better than last year's event. I already landed another Sponsor for the club. Who do I need to have contact them to make it official? John
I missed the last meeting, but are we still having this? I was at the Fish Bowl tonight, and asked about Reef Fest. They said they hadn't been contacted yet, but that they were looking forward to hearing from the club because they enjoy hosting it. I know I've always had a great time there, and the store is great.
There is obviously a disconnect somewhere. I have not contacted them. I was under the impression that had already happened since this first came up in September.
Ok, I think we contacted them last minute last year, and they still made it happen. I was just wanting to make sure it was happening, so I could advertise it with some of the reef clubs around Jonesboro. Searcy would be a close drive for them.
Hiya, I remember from the last meeting that we discussed which corals to order and that John was going to bring a pork based chili and I was going to do a beanless chili. We'll need other items like plates, bowls, sides, cheese, frito's, sour cream and anything else that other folks might want with chili. Kim/Benton, AR
Kim that's kind of my point. We have discussed this 2 meetings in a row but I guess no one discussed it with the host. We know the food but haven't locked down the location. I got us another sponsor and Jason will be finalizing the details with them. I don't know who has the the other donated stuff. John
Got it. Jack London. I asked about club discount and they want to see a card to prove membership. How to we prove membership?
Apparently there have been some non club members claiming membership in order to get the discount. We need to figure out a way to prove who is a paid member and who isn't. John
The only sure way is to issue membership cards. If someone is saavy enough to design one and print them, I'll have them laminated and mail them.
I left a message for Jack to call me. Also, membership status is listed on the user profile on this site. I'll follow up with Jack when I hear from him.
