Fresh & saltwater supplement that safely restores missing nutrients, improves water quality and helps control algae. Try it free: http://bit.ly/NualgiTrial. They are offering a free trail, absolutely free trial I should say. If you have any type of algae problem you might want to participate. I have signed up and hope I can resolve a bubble algae issue. Really nice company and easy to set up.
Thanks Greg. I have noticed a little bubble algae in my tank, so I'll check this out. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I have a question. If I understand correctly this works by causing a growth in diatoms which out compete other algae? I have very little algae but I have been fighting diatoms for a couple of months. (Nitrate 2.5, PO4 0.00) Would Nualgi help me or make my diatom problem worse?
Since we dont know your tank very well, a number of possibilities exist 1. Nualgi may make the problem worse by causing growth of more Diatoms. 2. When Nualgi is used better species of Diatoms will grow and these will out compete the present species growing, and the new species may be better food for fish, so they will be consumed. In tanks in which Nualgi is being used, there are no complaints of excess diatoms, since the diatoms are being consumed. But since you are having a problem with accumulation of diatoms, so it is possible that the diatoms growing in your tank are not being consumed, since they are inferior species. 3. It is possible that the brown algae growing in your tank is not diatoms at all but some other algae that is also brown. If so, Nualgi will help.
If I don't have any fish in my system, but have blue legged crabs & turbo snails, will the diatoms caused by Nualgi be an issue? I am assuming that my cleanup crew should take care of it. I don't believe I have any diatoms in my tank, or my current cleanup crew is pretty effective. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Nualgi has worked very well to starve bubble algae and algae on the glass. So its worth a try. The diatoms made by Nualgi are species that get readily consumed by zooplankton and your crabs will love the live food that zooplankton is. So I would recommend you trial Nualgi in your tank.
