I am shopping for an overflow box for my 75gallon build. Yes, I know drilled is better...i have heard this a million times. But, I don't have a drilled tank so i am going with an overflow. I have read lifereef's are the best, but they price them as if they know they are the best. Can anyone recommend another overflow? I would prefer the U_Tube design as it looks less likely to break a syphon. I have seen several online, but would love to hear suggestions from you guys. Has anyone ever used some of the cheaper ones off of ebay? They seem to be designed the same, just not named "lifereef" so they appear cheaper. I like the Eshopps ones, but I read where the U Tube is too short and can break syphon. Would I be better off just spending the extra $$$ on a life reef? I know you can't cut corners when it comes to $$$ on everything in this hobby, but I was hoping this may be one of those things you could. Thanks for everyones help.

You could just drill the tank. its not that hard to do I could let you use my 1 3/4 diamond hole saw if you want to go that way

go with a life reef [url2='http://www.lifereef.com/siphon.html':3cnror4n]http://www.lifereef.com/siphon.html[/url2:3cnror4n] hands down the best of 4 i tried. If i ever went non drilled again i would go with them again. it is designed so it will never lose syphon no need for a pump or any crap. I lost power for 3 days and when it came back up boom worked like a champ.
