I have read articles online, but was wondering what you all suggested. I have finally been able invest in a magnesium test. I believe that I performed it accurately, (took me a couple of tries). But the result I'm getting is 1180ppm. From what I've read, I probably need to increase that by at least 100ppm. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I use BRS 2 part solution made by mixing 5 cups of MgCl and 3 cups of MgSO4 in one gallon of water then use their calculator to determine how much to use. http://www.bulkreefsupply.com/instructions/article/Instructions-for-Bulk-Packaged-Materials the calculator is here. Just put in water volume, before Mg level and desired level and pick the correct supplement and voila! http://www.bulkreefsupply.com/reef-calculator
Thanks! This will be my next project. Always something with a tank! Lol. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
