Well, our yellow tang ("SpongeBob") died today. He had been a little less active lately and I first became concerned when he didn't act aggresive toward a new fish we added last week (very out of character for him). I kept an eye on him and didn't notice any significant physical symptoms except that his mouth seemed red and swollen the past couple of days - but it could have been my imagination. Today he didn't eat, stayed in the top part of the tank, started swimming lopsided, and then just sort of fell to the bottom. Any ideas what happened to him? The other two fish in the tank seem to be healthy. good grief.
